When our client purchased this 1950’s ranch she wanted to completely renovate and planned to live in the house well past retirement. The client wanted more space and more light without changing the footprint of the house. Design choices were made to accommodate aging-in-place. Two bedrooms next to the main bathroom were completely demolished. The space became the master bedroom and bath. Larger entryways into the bedroom, bathroom and shower were created. Fixture heights in the bathroom were adjusted.

Our attention to detail shone in our custom design for the shower tile and in choice of shower seat. Even the water temperature adjustment dial in the shower can be used without getting wet.

Creative solutions like these, the ease of working with our team of skilled craftsmen and subcontractors, and our attention to detail were behind the clients' choice to expand the scope of the project to include the guest bedroom and bathroom.
